The food is quite delicious; the chefs truly understand New York Italian cuisine, with just the right balance of basil and oregano. The pasta is cooked al dente, which is essential for authentic Italian dishes. However, I found the flavors to be somewhat mild—there's a lack of seasoning, with salt barely noticeable. (But don’t worry! They do provide salt shakers!) While the eggplant dish was fantastic, the pasta primavera was just average; the flavor was decent, but the vegetables were overcooked, lacking that crisp-tender quality. I had a reservation for 11 people, and the service we received was quite good, although I didn't catch the server's name. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the price; it was fairly mediocre. On the bright side, the view by the water is absolutely stunning, making it a perfect spot for a romantic dinner. For dinner, I would say the price per person is around $30 to $50. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4. I recommend trying the garlic bread with dipping oil!
I went for dinner with my boyfriend, and we had a wonderful experience! The food was delicious and had that homemade touch. The restaurant, situated in what felt like an old house by the water, was charming. It wasn't very busy when we visited, but the service was a bit slow, which was the only downside. Overall, the food and location were fantastic!
