before our visit the extraordinary service of the villa hammerschmiede was shown. we were alerted to the fact that the way to the hotel was difficult to get through by a full lockout on the route and you better get to the next carbahn exit. The hotel is wonderfully located in a beautiful park, the restaurant consists of several single stubs and a winter garden, so there is a cozy atmosphere everywhere. the greeting is warm, we were led to our table in winter garden. the personal is always attentive and extremely friendly. we had a four-course menu, before that there were two greetings from the kitchen. first a crispy meatline with red Bete-Marshmallow, beautifully dressed and very tasty. the...
the villa hammerschmiede is located in a very beautifully landscaped small park directly at the entrance to the village. our lunch on the day we took in the light-flooded winter garden. the card is appealing and also offers appropriate dishes for the season (saving gel). the wine card is well sorted and you find a good drop without problems. as an appetizer we had a solid consommé from the albtäler rind and as a main dish excellent entrecote, a manageable filet from the sankt peterfisch and a delicate frying from the kalb. the sweet desserts rounded off a good lunch. the service was impeccable and reserved. Price-performance ratio top!
we stayed in the hotel and wanted to taste the gastronomy in the hotel on both nights. on the first evening we chose from the day card, unfortunately the dishes were not convincing and were also somewhat overpriced when you approach the quality of the food.On the second evening we had a gourmet 5-course menu included in the arrengement. this menu was able to meet the star kitchen, all the walks were excellent and now we knew why the chef got his stars right. really a great evening with a menu that we have only been able to experience from topgastronomy like at herrn heinz winkler in aschau or at the Schlosshotel seefels am wörthersee.
were there for breakfast. already the way to the restaurant through the park was very nice. in the restaurant we were taken very friendly in reception and brought to the places. in the spatial areas one felt right away. the personal was very discreet. the quality of the food as well as the selection were top quality. the chef personally walked around and welcomed the guests. again

the weeping (a spicy from the Alsace) was out; already bad when an evening begins. the alternative wein didn't taste me. the service was temporarily inattentive. the salt mill was broken, a new one we did not get. the food was okay, but not worth a trip. only the economical of my gaste was perfect!In total significantly too expensive for total power!
the ambiente in the restaurant was very beautiful. that eat very well, but relatiw expensive. Price/performance ratio is not true. the service was inadequate. we have been greeted nicely, got a nice table assigned, served an aperitif and from there we always had to ask a waiter for everything (it was not always one there).
super service, from reception to service at dinner and breakfast. we feel very comfortable and appreciated.We'll be back soon. In restaurant large portions in excellent quality. expensive but tasty, so the price is reasonable.
I found it very pleasant that high quality food can come together with quick service. Especially if you are a business traveler.
