I really enjoy Village Bistro. It is a convenient meeting spot for me and my friends who live in Cheshire. Despite a few small issues, such as receiving a dirty martini I didn't order and my friend's steak being cooked well done instead of medium rare (which was quickly corrected), the outdoor seating is lovely in the summer, the staff is attentive, and the food is delicious. We did have a question about the extra charges for our "up" drinks, where we were charged $3 per drink for no ice and additional fees for subsequent iceless drinks. The manager removed those fees after we inquired about them, reminding us to always check our bill carefully.
The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious - flavorful, creative, and served hot and fresh. Although there was a bit of a wait due to it being Mother's Day and the restaurant being very busy, our server was friendly and attentive. This restaurant is always a great choice to support.
I went to a Mother's Day brunch buffet with my mom and stepdad. The food was good, the music was lively but not too loud to have a conversation, and the atmosphere was fantastic overall!
