Everything about our visit to the Village cafe last night was brilliant! The food was so perfect, exactly what we wanted for dinner with the twist of the hot rock and being able to cook it to your liking right there at your candle lit table The service was great too! Our waitress was bubbly (even after dealing with difficult customers next to us) and also gave us advice on other great restaurants to try next! Being confident that is that their meals are near the best in town! Paying $30 for a steak, youd expect a steak/meal worth $30. I am one of the last people to leave a negative review somewhere unless it called for. But when i spend $30 on a meal, to be greeted with a pile of frozen chips i could have got from Mcdonalds, a pile of rocket leaves in place of a salad, a flavourless mushroom sauce and instead of a medium well piece of steak, i completely RAW (not rare, RAW) chunk of meat. Returned it to the kitchen, and they recooked the same piece of meat, returned it to me, actually cooked, and thats when i got to find out that even the steak had no flavour, and felt like rubber. Tucked away near Woolworths is Village. We arrived in town a bit late and liked the look of the menu for a quick bite. Full menu on offer as well as a tapas style selection- sliders, aranchini balls etc. All well presented and reasonably priced. Service pleasant and efficient. Worth the wander through the arcade for breakfast lunch or dinner.
After some really good Camembert and laughs with the waitress we had to wait a little bit because it was super busy but it was worth the time waiting!Black Angus medium was a pleasure to eat! My Girlfriend was really satisfied with her Trout as well. I highly recommend going there if you look for good food and fun times.

Went there tonight and asked for a variation of their Risotto main and it was beautiful. The meal was perfectly cooked and very tasty. I must say the smell of the hot rocks around me was very enticing as well. Profitteroles to finish the meal and I am full.
We went multiple times to the village cafe, and highly recommend going - especially at night time as they have a really cool atmosphere! We both had the hot rocks which are so delicious and really healthy! Would definitely recommend the eye fillet!
We ate cajun chicken burgers on the most delicious buns after a long day of travel. Plenty of other options and operate all day, including breakfast. Located in walkway from main street to supermarket. Very friendly service!
The food is pretty nice, but our burger was $21 and while the patty and bun were nice it really was a plain burger just lettuce, tomato cheese and only came with a small amount of fries for me it wasn't worth $21.

Very neat interactive experience. I would highly recommend the hot rock for two deal. My friend and I got to cook our own food on the hot rocks that they brought to our table.
Went here for dinner with my girlfriend. Both our meals were top notch. Would definitely go back and I would definitely recommend to others too.
