I am so happy that I found this Awesome Deli that's a Hidden Gem in Jenkintown, PA. So today May 15th, 2021, was the 3rd time I had Ordered food from the Village Delicatessen and they did NOT disappoint. Today, I ordered a Corned Beef American Cheese sandwich on Rye bread and it was delicious! Just like my Italian Hoagie and my Roast Beef Cheese Hoagies before today. I am so loving everything I have eaten from this deli. And the Deli Workers are so Very Friendly, Helpful Patient with me and quite frankly with ALL Their Customers BOTH in- person and over the phone, too. I just love how Fresh everything is from their Rolls/Bread, Meats, Cheeses and all the vegetables that you get on your Hoagi...
This place is fantastic! I visited for the first time today, and the woman who took my order was very friendly and patient. They were pretty busy with several regular customers and phone orders, so it took about 10 to 15 minutes for my order to be prepared. The food was delicious! The bread for our sandwiches was incredibly fresh, and everything is made to order. I had a breaded chicken BLT sandwich, which had just the right amount of crispy chicken and bacon, along with the Utopia hoagie and chicken with fries. We will definitely return!
Hoagies are very large and very reasonably priced. 9 bucks for a hoagie that had fresh sliced italian meats stacked high! They even use real prosciutto! Only reason for the 4 stars is its a little hard to find. It's tucked away next to a gas station and if you weren't paying attention you wouldn't know it was there.
