Village Grill - Village Hotel Nottingham

I think the staff here don’t get enough credit for the amazing job they do. You won’t find staff like this in any other Starbucks. Nick in particular is so patient and so kind and so knowledgeable. He thinks nothing of helping anybody and is always so professional. On one single day I saw him tending to a disabled customer repeatedly, including helping the customer sit down safely (the customer has visual difficulties), helping explain which sandwiches were available (remembering the customers favourites) and generally tending to them whilst also serving others. On that same shift a customer came in half an hour after closing asking for a ‘green drink that looks like pondwater’. The customer...

Friendly staff although service was a little slow. Coffee was as expected and no issues at all. I appreciate it’s within the hotel although managed separately as it’s a franchise but it’s only open 6am to 6pm which is a shame! They are missing a lot of possible trade as they are closed when most people are arriving at the hotel to check in and also trade from the large number of people that visit the visit the hotels gym in the evenings. If it was open when I arrived at the hotel every evening after work I’d have given it a higher rating overall.

The drinks at this Starbucks were not up to par with other locations. My son ordered a cookies and cream frappuccino, but it only tasted creamy without any cookie flavor. My daughter's hot chocolate was of poor quality, lacking in flavor and requiring additional sugar. My flat white was just average. We were disappointed to find that there was no Village Gym discount to make it worth returning.

I stopped by to grab a drink at this restaurant, but I'm going up to my room since I'm staying in the hotel where it's located. The server was lovely and provided very quick service. Even though it was mid-afternoon and there were plenty of choices, I had to settle on a cake and a drink due to my allergies. Réservez une table maintenant

The chai tea latte was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy with a convenient place to charge your phone. However, it was disappointing that there were no restrooms available. Due to this inconvenience, I would not choose to return to this restaurant.

We stayed in the Village hotel for a pre Christmas treat on a room only basis. We were delighted to see there was a Starbucks on site- it had a good ambience, was convenient and great coffee ! We were able to attack the Christmas shopping afterwards!

The Venue is excellent with ample parking, the service was good and the coffee and choice of cakes very good indeed. The hotel's facilities are good all in all good value

Not the best Starbucks I've visited. Too much posing and not enough action. However, the coffee was good although the chocolate was lukewarm. Réservez une table maintenant

Visited while at the Village Hotel. Always great coffee and the staff were friendly too. My favourite drink is the caramel macchiato.

It's a Starbucks in a hotel! It's not as busy as the high street but the service is fast, better than the hotel bar!
