I had a very nice early dinner here one evening, and the food was great. Both the flavor and the prices were wonderful. I had the chicken fried steak, and that came with two sides (I chose broccoli cheese soup and mashed potatoes). It was all very flavorful, and the soup really stood out to me as one of the best versions of that flavor I’ve ever had. I also got apricot pie for dessert. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the whole place felt nice and homey. It may be a bit old fashioned, but that really works here. Sometimes nothing needs to change. I’d definitely recommend Village Inn for a nice casual meal.

This is one of the best little restaurants you'll ever come across! If you're looking for delicious food at an affordable price, this is the spot to visit. The chicken is superior to any you’ll find in Frankenmuth, Michigan; the pie, as my wife put it, is to die for, and their soups are incredible. If you're just passing through, this is definitely the place to eat! The staff is wonderful, kind, and friendly—a refreshing throwback to the days when people were genuinely nice. Don’t miss the chance to sample an American classic; I will undoubtedly return time and again. God bless your little restaurant!

We always go to this little restaurant when we come out to Shipshewana area. They have good food, friendly service, and is most always pleasant to eat there.Parking: There is limited on street parking. Then people have to go over a block to use the town parking lot.Kid-friendliness: We see kids in there each time we visit.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp into the restaurant, but the bathrooms are upstairs...so inaccessible for wheelchairs or those with walking difficulties.

A working person's classic diner, spot-on diner food and excellent pies. A local haunt.Wheelchair accessibility: A ramp for wheelchairs but probably not the bathroom, which is up a narrow stairway. Also, it's mostly booths with static benches. Fairly narrow aisles. So possible, but far from great access Réservez une table maintenant

My daughter and I visited for the first time on our way to a show in a nearby town. We were truly impressed by the quality of the food. We began with a delicious homemade pie as an appetizer, and then enjoyed the best buttermilk pancakes I’ve ever tasted.

Corned beef hash was a little browned on the outside but otherwise complete mush.On a previous visit my pancakes were semi raw at the center.
