Saw the reviews were exceptional, so wanted to try it out for my birthday lunch. My son's grilled cheese was served with unmelted cheese that you could still see where they overlapped the pieces together. My sandwich must've been sitting for a long time because the bread was soaking wet from the steam with preserves soaked into the wet bread. This was the worst dining experience of my life. I think they just didn't like me for some reason because everyone else's food looked pretty good.
We began our first-ever week in Door County with breakfast at Village Cafe and with was the perfect way to begin a wonderful week. Our waitress, a Bulgarian student, was both efficient and friendly. Our oatmeal with yogurt and fruit was awesome and I loved the bran muffin with my piping hot coffee. The cafe has a home-town charm that we loved. We'll be back!
Amazing food! I had the spicy crab cream cheese omellete with the breakfast potatoes. Service was good for how busy they were. I loved the Green Bay Packer decor in the men's restroom. I'm looking forward to trying their lunch menu on our next trip through Door County.

Had the corned beef benedict and the breakfast potatoes and it was excellent. My wife had the grilled chicken club wrap, my daughter had the PB&G wrap and both said they would definitely go back.
The service was satisfactory, but the food was disappointing. I was really let down, especially since they used to serve excellent dishes.
I absolutely love their food; it's incredible Italian cuisine! My friend even claimed it’s better than what you’d find in Italy.
