Certains amis et moi avons récemment mangé dans le restaurant Vims. Nous avons été très déçus car la nourriture était très courante et pas avant leur niveau élevé habituel. Les entrées du poulet Satay, des rouleaux de printemps étaient très petits. Le plat principal, le service de poulet au beurre était également assez petit et la sauce très mince et constamment. La lammkorma n'était pas beaucoup mieux. J'ai mangé beaucoup de vaisselles dans le restaurant indien de la Mand à Avoca St Randwick. Mes amis et moi ne reviendront pas à Vims pour un autre repas. Il était un excellent restaurant et un bon rapport qualité-prix, mais plus.
We tried to go to Bake Bar but we got no service for a solid 15 minutes, so we thought we would take our custom next door. Next door is an exotic looking Malaysian restaurant called Vim's. What a wonderful decision that was, as we thoroughly enjoyed our hearty meal of a vegetable stir fry, long grain rice, roti canai with chicken curry, and mango lassi. The food was deliciously tasty, and the flavours were fantastic. The service was caring yet unobtrusive, and made us feel right at home. It felt like we were eating at an old aunty's house.
we wanted to go to bake bar, but we don't have a service for 15 minutes, so we thought we would take our use next door. the next door is an exotic looking Malaysian restaurant called vim’s. what a wonderful decision, which was how we enjoyed our hearty meal of a nice rogue, long fancier, roti canai with chicken curry and mango leti. the food was delicious and the aromas were fantastic. the service was caring and yet unobtrusive and made us feel at home. it felt like we were eating in an old tante house.
Small servings.... Started with vegetable spring rolls which tasted like plain pastry and not much filling. Had chicken noodle dish and struggled to find chicken pieces amongst the ingredients. Curry came out in a tiny rice bowl....very small serve for the price. Bought take away curry for my fiance and the container was only a 3rd filled. Not impressive.

C'était une vraie déception. Le calmar était extrêmement tranchant et cela n'a pas spécifié cela dans le menu. Le curry au poulet avait quelques morceaux de poulet et était principalement de la sauce. Un terrible repas qui coûte beaucoup trop cher ce que c'était.
the bark rendang and the chicken atam were so hot that they were not edible. I love malay, Thai and Indian cuisine and am not shy of hot food. the heat was so exaggerated that she killed every taste. really venerable. cook was also rude. never again.
well authentic Malaysian cuisine full of original aromatics says someone who lived in Malaysia for two years. the service is left, however, and the prices are quite high for a take-off type food.

Vim’s kitchen is a very special place. combines chique eastern suburbs hipster diner with authentic Malaysian family kitchen. I have been regular since the last 5 years!
