If you're looking for superb cuisine, not pretentious, but carefully constructed, aromatic, well presented, and meticulously cooked to specifications... then look no further than Vin 25. A quaint location, with outside music, and bustling vibe inside, Vin 25, at least for me, ticked all the boxes to celebrate my birthday and our guests, one who was also celebrating his birthday. I had the best date nights at @vin25bistro. Just 30 minutes north of Buckhead in Historic Roswell, Vin 25 is a neighborhood wine bar and bistro serves new American cuisine. They have an exclusive international wine selection and a seasonal menu that changes at least 5 times a year. The heated outdoor terrace, circular fire pit and live music set the mood Vin25 was a breath of fresh air and a beautiful escape from the city. After we left, we stood outside discussing the situation, and Christy came out to give us a card with the general manager's number. She inquired if we had dined there before, to which we responded that many of us had. When we asked for her name, she told us, “It’s Christy, C-h-r-i-s-t-y,” with an unfriendly attitude, and then walked away. Overall, it’s clear that Christy could benefit from some customer service training and better communication skills. This quaint little wine bar features a lovely patio, but securing a seat there, even with a reservation on weekends, can be quite a challenge. While there are plenty of better dining options in Roswell, I found my meal to be just average. Unfortunately, the short rib stuffed peppers appetizer did not appeal to us at all. We had a wonderful time dining outside on a lovely evening. The menu was diverse and intriguing, and the bar had a great selection. The cost per person was about $20–30. Overall, I would rate the food 5/5, the service 5/5, and the atmosphere 5/5.
