Vino Vino Sunnyvale

I went to Vino Vino for Valentine?s Day with my husband. Our experience was disappointing. It was a busy Friday night as we expected and there were only two waitresses working. They were friendly but were not attentive. We had to wave them down for every request. We sat near the kitchen and could see one of the chefs eating as he was preparing orders. The kitchen was a very messy workspace making cleanliness questionable. We both ordered flights of wine and the vino vino sampler. It appears as though they use sandwich meat that they put in the paninis on the sampler platter which was disappointing given the price of the platter. We visited Vino Vino a few years ago when they were new to Murphy Street. Our experience then was much more positive. Maybe management has changed since? It was a fun atmosphere despite the service.

Maybe it's good for a drink or two, but eating is quite terrible. if they use microwave meals, perhaps an open plan kitchen is not the best choice. we have microshaft pasta! the pizza was also frozen. no wonder that this place was empty when every other place is busy on the road. I should have trusted my instincts

We usually enjoyed the appetizers. The hummus was a bit out. The perfetto crostini had no hot red jelly taste I had expected. But the main courts were disappointing. The pizzas were not consistently baked. The pasta with pecorino was without salt or taste.

The quality of the food is also great. Staff are informed about the wines. Also beautiful decor makes the place relaxing. I recommend this place when you are in wine tasting and lunch. - Ravi G.

Went here for some wine and apps before heading off to dinner. Loved the ambiance and our server was nice. The apps were VERY good! The olives were some of the best I?ve had outside of Spain
