Arrived in Redondela this afternoon and thought this place with its lovely terrace looked like a nice place to stop for lunch before checking into my albergue. A bad decision! I noticed two male pilgrims being ushered by a barking waitress wearing a badge and lanyard into a smaller table and the same happened to me as I was seated at a table for four, not having noticed the smaller tables. I noticed the waitress making impatient hand gestures towards guests at a neighbouring table. Judging by the reviews, pilgrims aren't welcome, even though our money is as good as anyone's. After 15 minutes waiting for someone to bother to take my order, I left. I'm glad I didn't spend money in this establi...
“Hola!”…said Steve. The purple haired waitress returned his cheerful salutation with an icy stair. No kidding, the waitress was rude and unhelpful. Took our drink orders and never came back for food orders. The couple next to us waited over 1 hr 45 minutes for their food. There’s a reason this is #49 of 49 restaurants in the city. I reco you walk a little further for better service (can’t comment on the food).
As pilgrims entering Rondella will encounter this establishment immediately upon entry they will be tempted to stop and eat. DON’T! This place is an insult to Spain’s gastronomy and an assault on even the most rubbish resistant gastrointestinal tract. Pity 1 star is the lowest rating.

Quirky restaurant and bar. Stopped for a drink after a long Camino walk and then had dinner there. Very friendly staff and customers. Dominated by TV screens. Image of Beethoven. Pink stools. Good meal of Gazpacho soup followed by meatballs...

The young waiter was incredibly unfriendly and arrogant. The location doesn't seem to need clients. I wanted to eat something but then I changed my mind after seeing I'm not expected here.
buena opción para comer al final de la carretera. probamos las zambiriñas, muy ricas y una capa muy original de champiñones y castañas. buena calidad / precio

Service was very slow I think they serve Pilgrims last. It took us 2 hours to sit, eat and get our bill. Food wasn't very good either. Our dessert was okay.
