A person from a 6 party turns to me and asked: Why are you coming here? Chinese foods taste so much better than that.” I answered the guy: “I had a great tapas experience when I was in Barcelona and wanted to give this place a try.” This group had no great dinner. But they were really nice about it and from the sound of it, they gave a really nice tip to their waiter. We keep waiting for our food. First, the Sangria is delicious. It is a nice restaurant, located in downtown of Claremont. I have been here several times. The meals were delicious. There was, usually, ample of space to sit down, especially on the patio. They have a good selection of wines. Of course, the main selection is from Spain. In addition, the waiters and working staff were quite helpful. One drawback, though, it was, and still is, open from 5:00 PM. Nevertheless, the timing was perfect. I usually, would leave work, around that time. In addition, it could get pricey. So, I would recommend to visit this establishment, when disposable funds are available. Nevertheless, my experiences, visiting this establishment were quite positive.
First time coming here and it wasn?t that great. I understand call outs and being short staffed but zero acknowledgment from staff. Waiter over an hour for food and no sorry the kitchens backed up or anything. The chicken was warm not even hot dry and chewy like jerky and the crispy carrots were soggy carrots so seemed like the food was cooked on a high temp to get it out fast and then left under a warming lamp. Wouldn?t suggest
I love this place! The ambience is energetic, cozy, and friendly. The waitress was amazing! So sweet with giving us recommendations and so accommodating. If you like tapas and sangria, you'll want to hit this place up. Get here before you actually get hungry because there will most likely be a wait.
Always a wonderful experience! I recommend arriving when they open and having a few items to order in mind. The menu conveniently rates popular items. Expect to take your time and enjoy the unrushed pace of the restaurant. Highly recommend starting with sangria and ordering tapas as you go.
As always, the food was great! Because of COVID, we were eating outside it was literally 100 degrees outside, so couldn’t give 5 stars for ambiance not their fault). It is one of our favorite restaurants! Love ordering tapas getting to taste several different things.
