When we entered one of the staff were stacking the chairs on the tables and they were in the process of closing the restaurant for the night...on a Saturday night. We asked the girl at the front what was going on? She said the Chef was closing the Kitchen early but we could order Pizza to go. WHAT---ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I pointed out the sign says open until 9:00pm. She was obviously uncomfortable and had no further answer so I asked for the Manager. 2 Weeks ago we drove by and saw this rather new Pizza and Pasta Spot. It was a Sunday night so we decided to try it with our 2 Children.We sat and as we proceeded to order the only soup on the menu--Pasta Fagioli we were told they were Sold Out?? How can they be sold out when the restaurant had just opened for dinner? We ordered a Vegetarian Pasta--Penne for our 2 Children to share. It came with a Meat Sauce. We pointed out that we had ordered a Vegetarian Pasta since our family does not eat meat and was told that the Chef said this was the only Tomato Sauce available that evening. Was there lst night (4 Adults) total. Restaurant about 1/3 Full. Service very slow??? However the Pasta we ordered (2 Pasta Dishes; 2 Pizza's) were the size of a Childs Portion. We asked out Waitress if this was the correct serving portion and were told it was. Like I said not nearly enough to fill an adult and not nearly enough for the Price they are charging. It really is a Kids Portion for example at Mezze Notte. The Pizza came about 8 Minutes before our Pasta's arrived. Burnt to the point of non-edible and Raw in the middle. Not very good...again for the price they are charging. As ell the Pasta's Noodles are OUT OF A BOX.!!!I have been dining out with my wife and friends for many years...
I visited Vivo in January with family and friends and the service was uncoordinated. One of the party didn't receive her appetizer until our mains were out and then her main sat getting cold. The servers were overly casual, seemed to lack training and were lacking information. We discussed this with the owner and because the restaurant was relatively new, we decided it was worth a second try.Our recent visit(same server) lacked polish that one would expect. The server seemed rushed, disinterested in customers and has not improved much since my first visit. Prices are good, food was good, the place is very small but I will not visit again until I am assured more attentive service.

$10.00 for a Bowl of Luke Warm Soup and what they pretend to call a Main Course of Fried (Soggy) Calamari with 4 Small Shrimp for $18.00 is preposterous. This is not the Four Seasons Hotel by any means.Food was slow to arrive3 even though the place was not that busy. There are much better places in the neighbourhood with reasonable pricing that is much better value for your dollar. Not coming back here that's for sure.Gary Stonefield
This place is like cafe style Italian restaurant. The deco is trendy and simple. Food is really good, especially pizza (so good). Calamari is amazing. Salad and pasta is ok too. In term of service, since this is like a cafe, don't expect restaurant style service. But don't get me wrong, service is fine.
This small Italian pizza and pasta spot is great for local dining. The pizzas are amazing and the pastas are simple. The VIVO (pesto with chicken) and MARGERITA pizzas are always our favs. Catering via their pizza truck is also available for events. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
This is one of the best restaurants in the neighbourhood for a quick and delicious meal. Have been many times. Typically get the Arugula Salad, share a pizza and have a veal chop. Never disappointing!

I have been here half a dozen times already, both for lunch and dinner with friends and family. The staff is extremely friendly and eager to please. The food always delicious. Highly recommend.
It's a small casual restaurant. Good value each pizzas, salads & pasta are the same price. A bit noisy & not too many tables. A good family restaurant.
