"Vogelnest is a very nice place to eat when in the Eggalm or Rastkogel ski system.It’s a typical Austrian Self-service restaurant with good food. They have really good ribs which are the best among the ski restaurants in Tux. Highly recommended.The place is clean and has a very typical Tirol design.Well recommended place for eating when skiing."

This nice, friendly, self service ski hutte / restaurant is situated at at the bottom of the slopes in the Eggalm ski area in the Tux region of the Zillertal valleyWe generally found all of the mountain restaurants in this area of austria to provide good food at good pricesThis was particularly the case for this place, we had 2 large portions of Wurst and Fries and 2 hearty portions of spaghetti bolognese, with a large bottle of mineral water for less than 40 eurosYou wont get that in the French alps!
