During our visit in December, the ambiance was elegant and relaxing, with views of the golf course and water. The service was friendly and the menu offered a variety of dishes to suit different preferences. We decided to share two appetizers: the wonton tacos, which had a super crispy shell filled with juicy short ribs, and the meatballs, which were a generous portion with a flavorful sauce. Golf course patios are the best drinks with a view I'm always Googling to find restaurant bar patios on golf courses. They all offer good food, refreshing drinks, and great golf course views. My mom wanted to explore more of her town of Peoria, so of course, I looked for a great spot for cocktails. @vstaproom is located at the Trilogy Golf Club of Vistancia. Super yummy menu! I came here with a group of girls after a wedding rehearsal. For a Friday afternoon, it was busy! But there is a nice seating area where we could grab a drink and watch the golfers while we waited for our table. Our server was fantastic we had a larger group and she had no problem offering us separate checks to make it easy. I ordered a spicy margarita. We showed up for a Saturday late lunch and was able to grab a small booth in the bar. The bartender was swamped, yet another employee was able to come take our drink orders. We order the Asian tacos pretzel appetizers. The tacos were absolutely amazing; the only problem was the order only came with three street taco sized eats. So disappointing! This is at least our 10th time here and I cannot believe how awful everything was. We had a party of 6 and not one of us was happy with the food. Burgers were cold. My fish and chips came out half way through the meal with a sight apology and they were tough and gross and not even hot !No consistency with any of the food except the pretzel appetizer. It has really gone down hill. It's a shame because we really liked this place. No need to return to eat or drink. Service was terrible as well.
I have visited this restaurant numerous times for happy hour and had previously left a review. In the past, I criticized their "blue cheese" dressing, and unfortunately, it remains unchanged. During my latest visit, I ordered their BLTA. While it was a typical BLT, I was surprised to find that the slice of tomato was incredibly thin - almost translucent. It seemed absurd to charge extra for such a minuscule portion of tomato.
The hatch chili burger is my go to, and the pizzas are great as well. Lines get a little long on the weekends, but you can get on the waiting list before you arrive. The staff is always friendly and helpful, this one is on our regular rotation as it is close to the house.
