The food was nothing special. It looks great but no flavour. No balance of savoury and sweet. Egg truffle sandwich just tasted like a regular egg sandwich on white bread. Duck pie, 2% duck 98% pastry, with no flavour. Lemon myrtle scones could have been so amazing, such a great idea but had no flavour of lemon myrtle and were like little hard rocks., tomatoes jam tasted like tomato sauce. Lobster tart, once again no flavour, couldn’t taste lobster, looked adorable though. Vegan scallops, no flavour, looked great. Was really good next to some really loud people sitting at the bar in the end. Some of the hearty dishes could have used some spices (my friends said the same, even just some salt because it was a bit bland. Overall was really nice, although less seafood preferred, but this is my fault not to read the menu correctly and let them know that I don't eat it. 100% come back to try other themes, I miss the pain of your own pannacotta, which is annoying, but hopefully it comes back : would definitely like to see more non carby hearty items, though, it was a lot of bread and pastries.
Great at dealing with dietary restrictions for the high tea, except for nut allergies you won't be able to have high tea if this is your concern. The day we were there, there were several large groups of women celebrating hen's events which was very noisy. Our small group had trouble hearing each other. Great variety of food, and the service was friendly.
My wife was very disappointed as she was trying it out for our son who was getting married the day before and we were meeting there for Hightea the next day. It was too noisy. The chairs were uncomfortable and the food had no taste.

Belated birthday celebration with friends, beautiful setting, great customer service, friendly and welcoming. Cocktails were amazing, food was good, some not to taste.
