I frequent an optical store near this location. I have always noticed the Southport location but was unaware of the differences. The Westport location specializes in Korean BBQ, while Southport focuses more on noodle dishes. I found this hidden gem intriguing. I decided to stop by for lunch one afternoon and was pleasantly surprised. Having had Korean BBQ in NYC before, I must say this is very comparable. Overall the food is very good. A few things that would be helpful. 1) more explanation about the experience and what to expect. 2) I had to ask for a drink 3 times before getting it 3) they gave me the Marinated meat when I didn’t ask for it. 4) the meat was cooked one at a time and served to both of us vs me having one and my guest having the other so he filled up on mine and then didn’t eat much of his. 5) we said medium rare and it was more well done. this place was found by the walk in the opposite. I did it! everything in her menu is very good. their appetizers are different and somewhat groundless. they are “free”. the price of eating is not bad. good every penny worth. her service is exceptional. this was our 3rd time in 2 months and they already recognized us and even remember where we sat and some of the things we liked! we are going back definitiw as this is our goal to go to the place

I visited Wafu BBQ to celebrate a birthday and tried the beef dish, which was delicious. The service was friendly and made me feel right at home. I will definitely return in the future.
