My firecracker which I often have is too hot. I can't eat the chili and they probably use chili sauce. Prawns ok but not big and juicy enough. Have had worse. Wine acceptable. The bac choi and prawn lollipops are ok but they should give more and have more of a choice. Katsu is boring and like a curry gone wrong. With a bit of effort Wagamama could be much better. It's not terrible. The food is edible. Pity since it's popular. Saying that it's the only.place in Putney where one can go. Everywhere else in Putney is awful
We had a truly terrible experience in a chain we have loved. We were asked to do a date night food blog and I would not do them the shame. Ignored by staff, udon and the meat with it was frozen and tough (with raw peppers) and the teriyaki salmon was crunchy noodles and salmon not at all glazed. We had to physically wave down waiters to serve us and they were too busy hugging and ignoring us. The worst date night I’ve had in Putney love their takeout but will avoid going to my loved dine in.
Went as a family after our arrival in London, as my daughter was craving for udon. Lovely ambience! Service was OK. One lady speaking with foreign accent was amazingly nice, but the others were OK at best. Food was decent Udon was alright, the meat inside the katsu was covered with quite a thick breadcrumbs with not as meat as I expected.
Thank you very much for nice service and experience at wagamama putney. My visit today 13.09. was lovely ,waitress Renata been helpful and friendly to me which made my stay unforgettable. She suprised me with edamame and nice dessert on the house good job guys. I'll be back for sure, Tom.
