Lovely Pub Lunch with my wife today and we were very impressed with the meals we had. No skimping with the portions and the quality was excellent,I had sausage and mash and this came with Broccoli Carrots Peas four Sausages in onion gravy. My wife had gammon and this came with two eggs garden peas tomatoes and lovely chips. The service was excellent and very friendly. If you are passing this way I highly recommend the Waggon and Horses.

Fabulous pub. Beer was fine, reasonable prices, food was incredible, huge portions all home cooked and amazing value for money. Best pub meal we have had in a long while and not expensive, just real quality. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be back

Lovely warm welcome today when we decided to stop for Sunday lunch. Beef was cooked beautifully and was amazing. Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting or passing through. Great that it's dog friendly too big bonus points clean and socially distanced.

Meal was good and the fact OAP where at a reduced price my only fault was in this day and age there was no Gluten free puddings apart from ice cream which for me is more I have been Gluten free since 1998 and then you would expect that but not in 2022

In reality the menu was half of what was advertised on the website. Unusually we were asked to pay up front, which I declined. Service was a little slow, 45 minutes from ordering, but when it arrived it was hot and tasty.

Today, I visited this restaurant and the food was absolutely perfect. The owner made us feel so welcomed. We will definitely be returning, even though we are from Leigh in God's country. Keep up the good work!

I have treated my mother to a 3-course menu here for Mother's Day. the food was really delicious, the staff was very attentive during our visit and the worth was great! very recommended!
