A celebration of life meal the Wagon was engineered perfectly by the team who stepped up the plate at a very emotional day. The presentation, quality and standard of service is extremely high. The food was on the same level. This venue never seems too busy and the reason is that every cog of the engine is well serviced and oiled. Thanks for your attention to detail and making a difficult day special.

I was told about the place about 10 years ago but never visited until a month ago. We popped in after shopping for a drink and spoke to the friendly manager who told us about their steak night on Thursdays. I should keep this a secret, but what great friendly staff and what a great chef. The best fillet steak I have had for YEARS. Such a well balanced plate. All I can say is Well Done. D.

This pub is local to me but their lack of customer focus really irritates me. Why not put a menu on your website? Why not put proper photos on trip advisor? That somes up the whole place really lots of potential but the people running it just seem to get in the way. Food is fine but not as good as similar pubs in the area eg Fox at bulmer. Just not enough attention to detail.

The Wagon has a really welcoming vibe. We liked the decor of rich bold colours combined with interesting wallpaper. Service was of a very high standard. The menu, alongside traditional pub classics has some more interesting dishes which was good to see. We really enjoyed our food, it was of a very high standard and very tasty. The wine list also had some good value options. Réservez une table maintenant

“The Wagon offers something for everyone”. The trouble is that it shouldn’t try to do this all at the same time. We booked for lunch with some old friends but couldn’t hear ourselves think, let alone converse, because of the raucousness of the other clientele...

We are occasional visitors to The Wagon and it never disappoints. Always a friendly warm welcome and great service, not too quick and just right for an unhurried evening meal. Food is lovely and well cooked. Good selection of beers and wine list. Dining area...

Three generations of our family booked for Mother’s Day. We had a fabulous three course lunch of delicious food. The staff were very friendly, the venue was great and the price was, we all thought, reasonable. You are ticking all the right boxes. Keep it up!

We’ve been here a few times and really liked it, but this was the first time as a family. The food was great, something a bit different from the norm. The service was outstanding. Really helpful, accommodating and friendly. Loved the wallpaper too ! Réservez une table maintenant

Excellent Sunday Lunch in great surroundings. We arrived early and enjoyed the comfort of the seating area to enjoy a few drinks before lunch. Service was excellent and the food was great quality.
