Waitrose Cafe - Réservation de table

We used to go in here for coffee and a cake frequently. We also spent inside the store on each visit. Now that My Waitrose cards are no longer accepted for a free coffee we hardly go into the caffe at all. We have notic ed that there is no atmosphere and the selection of food and cakes and presentation is not tempting especially as there is a cake counter attached. I my opinion Waitrose have shot themselves in the foot and lost custom in the long run. Such a shame, we now go elsewhere.

I was surprised to find that there were no vegan meal options on the menu at this restaurant, especially considering Waitrose offers a wide variety of vegan food. Even the falafel had egg in it, which was unexpected. I ended up having chips and beans. The service was friendly overall, but my partner's chicken pie dish was not the best. With a little more attention to detail and some minor changes, this restaurant could be much improved.

Such a shame, I was so disappointed that there were absolutely NO VEGAN options except for a brownie. We came for breakfast and my son has a milk allergy, there was no options for him to eat anything other than a brownie. No options of sandwiches, cakes, breakfast rolls etc. how hard would it be to offer a vegan sandwich or roll or something. Won't be coming back

Limited offer of cakes and snacks in the afternoon, very clean and cheerful staff. However, does take some time to be served. Seating ok, but needs a bit of a rethink in terms of space at table and ease of being able to move chairs to sit down. Tea is very nice, but coffee far to bitter for me! Unfortunately, this restaurant fell short of expectations. I had lunch here with a coworker and found it to be mediocre. The staff was not very attentive and the food was not impressive. There are plenty of other dining options nearby that are superior.

My regular place for a cup of coffee and a sandwich. It is a surprisingly nice place to relax whilst you are doing your shopping. The menu is inviting, coffee good and the service and staff friendly!

Good café inside the big Waitrose in Horley village centre. Nice and clean, quite big. The food is average food, not bad, fair price. Friendly and kind staff. Nothing to add. Recommended!!!

The café is convenient for those shopping at Waitrose who want to grab a coffee, but the cakes lack flavor and the atmosphere is lacking. However, the staff are friendly. Réservez une table maintenant

Ok if you a Waitrose’s card limited menu the staff are friendly but the menus needs to expand there are better coffee houses close by

Considering it is Waitrose cafe and part of John Lewis it is very disappointing. Tables are very rarely cleared
