Wakame Sushi Asian Bistro

As one friend mentioned, I've never seen this place not busy. It's a good idea to make a reservation just in case. This was my second visit, and both times were quite similar. We came in on a Monday night and just barely managed to get a table for three. It's your typical American/Japanese sushi restaurant. Since it's always crowded, I recommend ordering appetizers or non-sushi items to start, as you'll likely be waiting for your sushi. Overall, it's a decent place for budget-friendly sushi.

I've been a loyal patron since the very first day this place opened. George and his team operate an exceptional sushi restaurant—without a doubt, the best in the Twin Cities. The sushi remains just as delicious as it was when they first started. The outdoor seating offers a serene and calming ambiance. I highly recommend trying the avocado salad and the Wakame roll. Even though the restaurant was busy, our order arrived in a timely manner. Thank you!

The third issue was our reservation. Despite having one, we ended up waiting 45 minutes because they operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Lastly, we had to wait outside in the cold, as there was nowhere to stand inside. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had, resulting in food poisoning and being subjected to a rude bartender while waiting outside for such a long time.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is delicious and the service is excellent. In the pictures, you can see (from top to bottom): the Dragon Roll, the Temptation Roll, and the Apple Teriyaki Salmon, which comes with Asian vegetables and jasmine steamed rice. Other favorites of mine include the BMW Roll and the Crunch Roll. Réservez une table maintenant

Wakame is the Best Sushi in Minnesota. Súper high end food and great service and friendly professional staff. Very nice atmosphere and great outdoor dining during the nice weather months. Wakame is a must for all Sushi enthusiasts. The owner is avery kind and friendly guy.
