Each time we return to Korbach, we make the effort to visit the Waldecker Stuben. It is a firm favourite of ours.The food is a consistently high standard, nicely presented and represents good value for money. While I try to make the effort to sample different dishes from the menu, I have some clear favourites; for starters, the onion soup with lashings of melted cheese makes a lovely winter warmer and the smoked salmon wrapped around a hot crispy mini-rösti is delicious. On the main dishes, the Allgäuer Schnitzel always goes down well. The complimentary side salad served with many dishes is probably one of the best we have eaten with a lovely selection of items and creamy balanced dressing.T...
