we were in lorsbach and our renter beat this beer garden as a good place to go. we were out all day and it was all that was open. it was a beautiful little walk through the city, a forest, a couple. farm with horses and sheep, really beautiful landscape. when we arrived there, the staff was very nice and eating and beer were great. the portions were very full. Unfortunately, our schedule was very full and we couldn't get back before we left. it was a nice relaxing place. the waitress said something English that was very helpful for us.

Today I tried the dish with roasted goose leg, red cabbage and knödeln. It was perfect!This restaurant is located in the forest between Lorsbach (30 min walk), Hofheim (1 hour) and Kelkheim (30 min). But one can drive there aswell. Good quality regional dishes, but also various schnitzel variations and steaks. Fresh salads and vegetables.

I really loved the food I tried there. Typical traditional restaurant decorated with hunting stuff. The service was ok, the place and its atmosphere was warm and nice and the food was great. I tried some snitzel with mushroom sauce and it was delicious. You can taste real homemade dishes they prepare there. I'll come back for sure. :)

"Deep" in the forest of Kelkheim, this place offers great local food and nature combined (you literally sit in the forest). Try the "Handkäse mit Musik" and the "Frankfurter Schnitzel". It's really worth a visit. But come with an empty stomach as the portions are huge :)

keep them on this place and enjoy the lunch under the shadow of the huge trees in the garden. the menu is concise, but there is enough to satisfy most taste. service was friendly, eating was great and the portions were super generous.

we spent a Sunday in the opposite and keep here for lunch was a nice break. Eating and atmosphere are beautiful, all surrounded by the forest, but it took too much time (it was full and they did not have so many employees).

We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant with most excellent food, good beer, great atmosphere and very good service. I will definitely go again.
