I've known the restaurant for almost 60 years. Under the name of Affen Flehmke it was known that they had a small zoo at the house, which was still common in the 1960s, but today does not attract any more. On request in the restaurant, we received as a reply today the boss made the monkeys here . Without registration on a Tuesday with two pairs showed up there for lunch. Unfortunately, the inn has been very neglected. Last summer there was no cake at 3:00. On two toilets missing toilet paper and on the third toilet everything was wet around the toilet! Now in April we were on a wedding party at noon time: wedding soup and cloudy (I know differently), half occupied gray bread with cheese, Mettwurst, ham, instead of choppeter onion sausage from the pack! Half slices were covered with salad cucumber and with tomatoes. The sausage was packed and not fresh, the bread was also packed. You could see it and taste it. For years we have always been in the Brunnenhof and have invited our guests there. We had ordered a champagne reception, unfortunately it did not take place, but it was served immediately the food. The quality of the food has been very neglected. The wedding soup tasted like the maggi bag. The meat (beef, pig and turkey) were all very dry, the vegetables hardly seasoned and the sauces also tasted only after Maggi. Potatoes, croquettes and lumps were o.k. Beautifully located in the centre of Bremer Switzerland. Very good food, rich menu, inexpensive. The boss is really a specialist, the service always friendly with personal touch. In summer additionally cultivated garden.
