My wife is used to spicy Asian cuisine and is struggling with long spells in the German countryside as typical German cooking can be re rather meaty with a lack of spices. But the Wolfsbachmuehle and it's excellent chef have managed to make us both want to come back there time and time again. From steak, to venison and particularly the trout every dish has been really tasty, well cooked and delicious. It's a bit of the main roads but well worth the detour. The Wolfsbachmuehle is also a great destination for walks from neighbouring villages Hohegeiss, Zorge or Wieda...

very nicely located restaurant - in the middle of the forest and at the river was to visit with my family. my eating was good - special carving - I can recommend.My wife had the resin sausage plate. this is expandable. so my opinion according to standard salami has not lost anything.In my daughter you have reacted flexibly to our desire and you have served a normal eating in child-friendly size (mirror with bratkartoffeln).The service was friendly, but unfortunately distracted by other organizational activities, so we had to wait with the reordering of drinks some time.For the offer in high quality, I can also recommend the gastronomy.
Wir sind eher durch Zufall hier gelandet. Schon als wir angerufen haben um nachzufragen ob noch etwas frei ist, waren wir sehr angetan. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Als wir da waren, wurden wir ebenso freundlich empfangen und auffallend professionell von A-Z bedient. Das Essen war sehr lecker und Preis Leistung absolut fair. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Absoluter Geheimtipp im Harz! Wirklich fantastisches Essen und ein super herzlicher Service! Besonders die veganen Gerichte haben uns begeistert – kreativ, frisch und richtig lecker. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und die Atmosphäre ist total gemütlich. Wer im Harz unterwegs ist, sollte hier unbedingt einkehren. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!
This small restaurant/hotel is a beautiful valley with a water stream and beautiful walking possibilities. The menu is simple but very nice; dutch influences on the menu with German low prices, excellent beer also: . We had calf livers and carvings, both very nice. Hospitality is excellent!
Etwas versteckt, aber an Herzlichkeit kaum zu überbieten. Die Betreiber sind Niederländer, was man auch in der Speisekarte sieht, gern auch mit einem Schuss Asien. Bis auf das Rauschen des Bachs herrscht hier vollkommene Stille.
na een reservering gemaakt te hebben kwamen we's middags met een groep van zestien personen. we konden mooi met de groep bij elkaar zitten. het eten was prima en de bediening was heel vriendelijk.
