Im Frühling hatte ich da angerufen und für 17 Personen reserviert, wir hatten Tag und Uhrzeit besprochen und wie die Tische gestellt werden sollen. 2-3 Wochen später habe ich wieder angerufen und gefragt ob es vom Platz her passt wenn noch mehr Person kommen, da wurde mir gesagt: ja das sei kein Problem. Dann kam der Tag der Hochzeit …. Wir stehen wie ZWEIMAL besprochen vorm Restaurant und es hat ZU!! Darauf hin habe ich die Handy Nummer angerufen die im Internet steht. We celebrated our wedding here in March 2019 with 42 people. Already at the first personal contact we felt very comfortable and the decision to organize our wedding celebration was quite fast. The further planning and organization was uncomplicated and left no wishes open. We left the decoration completely on the wood carving, with the exception of the coarse color selection, and were definitely not disappointed. Our guests felt very comfortable during the celebration and often praised the atmosphere. The Mediterranean buffet planned by us and the Waldschänke has arrived very well and has cost everyone. We were there twice now and I have to say I can't remember ever eating so deliciously wild in the area. The Killewittchen is located in the middle of the forest and has a magnificent view when you sit up. It is totally beautiful and cordially decorated, not old baked, but you feel like sitting at home. Simple and cozy. The food is really the madness my favorite of wild boar anger with knocking the waiting time could be a little shorter, but for such a mega food the cup is at a high level. I can only recommend it and would like to give 10 stars:
Update: inzwischen waren wir öfter hier. Das Essen ist extrem gut, egal, was man bestellt. Sehr abgelegen im Wald, kommt man hier auf der Außenterrasse schnell in Urlaubsstimmung. Der Service war sehr nett und auf Zack, das Essen war sehr gut, aber es könnte etwas mehr Soße auf der Currywurst sein. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

It was a bit of luck again today. From hosting the exceptionally welcoming and friendly way of access (via phone) to large staff... this is fun! The wild and also the curry sausage... just delicious. The homemade cake. I'd like to thank you for the nice time. With love
A really great secret tip! The service is really very friendly, the ambience is very pleasant, the view is great and the food is good: About the price/performance ratio I can't complain All in all I regularly come here :D
Leider standen wir am Sonntag um 14.50 Uhr wieder vor geschlossenen Türen....... der Stern geht leider nicht mehr weg.
Vorübergehend geschlossen wurde jedoch nicht auf der Internetseite vermerkt und wir waren vergebens dort :

Das Essen war auf der Karte vielversprechend aber es war bei uns drei im gesamten nicht gut.
Nice wood chips. Very friendly staff, few but delicious dishes. Very recommended.
