Walkers Fish - Réserver une table

I’ve always wanted to try here. Living local surprisingly we haven’t. My parents have though and they enjoyed their 1st visit Unlike this time. We’re a family of 5 my daughter registered disabled we parked in the designated disabled bays. Although wasn’t necessary we displayed a blue badge. Walked inside to be what can only be described as targeted by the lady(manager) who was running the place, telling us we can’t park in the disabled spot we had because it’s for disabled customers. Not politely came over and asked if we should be parked here,the restaurant had a fair few customers in. And all looked over towards us. My daughter felt humiliated. I said for her to just come along over to the table we had reserved. This shouldn’t be happening. We are now in 2023. And discrimination unfortunately is as ever still happening. We were served by a young lad who was kind enough. Although we felt by this point everyone had their opinion of us. The food was served by the lady in question. She had no manners and didn’t seem She was happy to serve us! Once we’d had desserts we paid. And left saying bye but still again nothing! We have eaten much better from the takeaway over the road. They are second to none. And very friendly unlike walkers. So we won’t be visiting walkers anymore. Unfriendly uninviting and rude. Customer care skills greatly need polishing up on!

Whenever we are in the area on holiday always try to fit in a visit. The Haddock and chips are just wonderful and it's great to see the food standards are maintained. Word of warning portions are generous, so pick size to suit your appetite.

Good service, nice decor, excellent food. Have been several times and consistently good. Deserts are amazing, fish and chips high quality and good selection of specials. Make sure you book ahead as gets very busy. Good value too.

Have been vomiting g to Walkers ever since it opened. It continues to serve delicious fish and chips at a sensible price. Good children’s options which our grandchildren greatly enjoyed. Good ambience and helpful staff.

This place is mins walk from my house which makes me very lucky. Great food and nice atmosphere. Impressive array of desserts too!
