My booking was for a pre-theatre meal for myself (mum and 2 kids (age 14 12 during the Easter school holidays. I made an 18:00 booking online via the pub 's website, which was straightforward enough, and received a confirmation email on booking also a reminder email a few days prior to the reservation. We arrived on time, but there was no staff around, so we followed the 'dining ' sign made our way down to the second level to the area that said 'wait to be seated '. We stood and waited for a member of staff, and then saw a table with our name on it, so we seated ourselves. Unfortunately, there was a large group of men standing by our table. Ordered their Sunday Roast (beef) on Sunday…not good at all. Roast was tough. Yorkshire pudding was rock hard and seemed old. Veggies were definitively old and warmed up. We also ordered the fish and chips. It was actually good. Ordered a Negroni, and it was the special, it was supposed to be apricot but tasted so much like grapefruit we knew they messed up. The ambiance is great. Very cool location but our food experience was at most average. Wouldn’t eat here again.
Came here for a work Christmas lunch. 10 of us seated in an alcove which was great. Food was good not huge portions but enough. weirdly the turkey Christmas meal had no stuffing!! Drinks were reasonable with friendly service. It was really quiet considering it was only a few days before Christmas. Shame as this is an ideal place to eat in the heart of Whitehall.
The staff here are hardworking, very friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious, a great variety on the menu, along with a great choice of wines, beers, cocktails, we highly recommend this great pub that still exudes old style mystique and glamour. Thank you to Mark the manager whose calibre of customer service is extraordinary, will definitely return soon.

My friends and I visited Walkers of Whitehall in search of the perfect pre-dinner cocktail. Prashen delivered homemade espresso martinis and his special rum martini that exceeded our expectations for what we were looking for during our first day in London. Highly recommend visiting Walkers of Whitehall for quality drinks and company!
Bad service from start to finish Wrong food came out then they expected you to eat what they brought out , staff we very unpleasant and the Manager was worse no apologies for bring out wrong food and how staff spoke to you STAY CLEAR !!!
This is a great venue for couples, friends or families it has a beautiful bar/vault downstairs and is good for private events. A little bit hidden too so doesn't tend to be too busy.
Came in to watch the rugby. Great atmosphere and attentive staff. All.4 of us had the cheeseburger and chips....very flavoursome and reasonably priced.

Great staff and lovely table area downstairs for drinks and nibbles. Felt very well looked after and a bottle of house red for £21 was very reasonable.
