I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! I entered on a rainy day and was welcomed with a warm smile, a friendly greeting, and a delicious complimentary bowl of lentil soup. The space is cozy and can accommodate around 15 people. The falafel here is some of the best I have ever tasted - moist and perfectly cooked. I ordered the falafel wrap, while my companion had the chicken shawarma wrap, both of which were delicious. To top it off, we were treated to another complimentary dessert. The service was exceptional. I will definitely be returning! Note: they only accept cash, but there is an ATM inside the restaurant.
I normally annoyed when warm food is dumped on cold salad but Wallys is close by and the Chicken Salad meat was still warm and lettuce was slightly wilted but in a pleasant way. I know its odd, but it is among my favorite salads. The chicken schwarma is well seasoned and the dressing is bright and acidic with just the right amount of oil to balance it out. The French Fries are also delicious I have a soft-spot for crinkle cut and they are generously seasoned. The garlic sauce is another favorite with a real punch of raw garlic. For garlic lovers only!
Heads up it’s cash only unless you decide to order online when you sit down. This is a true hole in the wall, literally walked through the bar to get to it and boy are we glad we did. Our server recommended the pomegranate chicken and it was so delicious. A hint of sweet with the normal savory you’re looking for from Lebanese food. Portion was huge so we were glad we shared and you get a complimentary soup and baklava with your order! Server was very nice and funny. Fun experience overall and we’ll definitely be going back
I loooove Wallys. I had their delicious kebabs in 2016 and its by far one of my top favorite restaurants. The food is always fresh and tasty. I love their lentil soup, the beef kebab plate, the salad, and the delightful baklava is such a treat. The team is always so friendly and efficient.

Shrimp Salad sometimes is excellent, 70% of the time. Other times the lettuce is little wilted and doesnt seem as fresh or seasoned . Also sometime the shrimp is cooked with better with more flavor. Im not sure if the inconsistency at times is because of who is cooking at the time ???
I have been goin to Wallys for over 15 years. Its like a home spot. Goin back to bein served by Wally himself. No kinder, better place, No better food. Solid servings, delicious and made w care. That care you have to have in your food. And they do it. The best!
This was my first time ordering from Wallys, and will DEFINITELY not be my last! The food was very tasty!! The pilaf rice was so flavorful and on point!
I absolutely love this restaurant in the East Bay! Make sure to order the chicken shawarma and pomegranate chicken - they are delicious!
