As a southern German, I know brewhouses most from the Bavarian area. At first, here in Duisburg, near the impressive Walsumer power plant (even in the shade of it) I was able to find a very nice, original, well-visited brewhouse. My local relatives swear to it, they like to come here for family celebrations and small festivities, especially as there is a separate, somewhat quieter space where one is completely under. Otherwise, quite a lot of remmidemmi and a murder operation are announced in the spacious main room, whose “side arms” go over half floors.
