We went the day after Valentine’s Day were surprised to find there was a fixed menu. We didn’t know this when we booked. We both had the cheese fondue to start it was amazing. We ordered the tomahawk steak to share. We asked for it to be cooked medium. When the waiter was carving he commented on the fact that ours was a bigger/deeper cut. Once carved it became obvious that due to the size it was cooked medium/rare. At this point it was too late to send back. Unfortunately we found the cut quite fatty, so won’t be having this again. A disappointment considering the price. Overall the staff were very attentive we enjoyed the sauces sides. We will return
We received a text message cancelling our table 3 hours before reservation. Apparently this was due to unforeseen circumstances but also due to an ongoing issue . I feel cancelling at such short notice would have been more polite to do by phone call rather than text. As there is an ongoing issue which appears to have been a problem on various other occasions according to social media posts, I will not be rushing to rebook in case it occurs again at the last minute.
Nice place but sadly a 50 minute wait for just mains when it wasn't that busy over shadowed our experience. With the wait we hoped the food would be amazing and sadly it was very average but on the other hand it was reasonably priced so I guess you get for what you pay. The plates were cold and therefore the food went cold pretty quick. Side fries were cold and onion rings were at a fine line of being raw in the middle. Nice decor and nice atmosphere though
Social distanced dining, smaller menu but still fab food. Sirloin steak asked for well done came pink but sorted without an issue. Cheese crush burger with loaded fries were really nice lots of flavour washed down with a rose wine. Had the Dutch baby dessert which we’d had previously and very good and enough for two. Looking forward to next time

Staff were friendly, the decor is lovely and modern. Good choice of burgers, which were excellent and the cocktails were fab. Very good value for money and will definitely return.
Outstanding work by the staff to provide excellent customer service. I enjoyed my interaction and would love to book again in the future.
Excellent evening and meal at Walton’s grill. Staff were attentive but not intrusive and the food was fantastic
Starter was ok, scallops Steak was great, sides, carrots and mash were only just warm No draught lager or beer
