I have recently relocated into this area and this place is just around the corner from me. It always seems to have lots of people coming and going so I decided to give it a go last nite. Lovely staff and food was quickly prepared. The $4 for a garlic bread (hot dog roll with some garlic butter) was very ordinary. The garlic prawns for $25 was sooo over priced. I'm not sure if the prawns were frozen or stale but they had a very distinct fishy taste... not much garlic plus I had to pay extra for some steamed rice... REALLY!! $25 for a takeaway garlic prawns with not that many prawns. The pasta was ok but was definitely lacking that boost of flavor. Im sorry guys but it looks like I have to kee...
New owners havnt got the recipe right yet. 5 pieces of chewy steak, no bacon as ordered, awful cheese, and soaking in sauce and whatever else on the steakburger that couldnt be picked up without falling apart. Pizza had masses of little black olives, but light on bacon and anchovies, but better than the under cooked inedible pizza I got earlier in the year. its just not the same as last 30 years since the new management..
This was my first time trying their pizza and I was not disappointed. Their large pizzas are bigger than the typical fast food pizzas and have more toppings and flavor. We purchased 4 pizzas for four people and even after eating a good amount, we still had over a whole pizza leftover. Luckily, pizza makes a great leftover meal. It was delicious and I would definitely buy from here again.
On a Thursday night, we placed an order at the restaurant. Unfortunately, the pizza we received was soggy and undercooked, not meeting our expectations. The recent change in management has led to several disappointing experiences, causing us to consider dining elsewhere. It is disheartening as I have been a loyal customer for 10 years. After reading a couple of reviews I was nervous after placing the order. However them nerves were soon gone as the BBQ chicken pizza with onion and bacon I ordered was tasty and fresh!! Bases are a perfect combination as well. Garlic bread was also very good!! Will be back for sure
