I went to Waraku Japanese because they stay open late. Unfortunately, the calamari was overcooked and inedible, which was quite disappointing. The coconut shrimp was okay, and the takoyaki with red sauce was tasty. This was my second time dining here, but I won’t be coming back. I can’t recommend this place. Even though the food had problems, we didn’t complain since it was late and the waitress was friendly.
This sushi place has really fresh salmon avocado eel rolls, my go to is the salmon avocado hand roll. I always go to them for delivery when I want fresh sushi. You can see from the pics how fresh the sushi ingredients are. Generous large portions of salmon and avocado and seaweed salad. I highly recommend this place if you?re a sushi lover but also want to make sure your raw fish is fresh.
We used to really enjoy dining at Waraku Japanese, but we've experienced several disappointing orders recently. Our latest order was missing a sauce, some sushi roll pieces, and the fried rice. Additionally, one sushi roll contained fish that was so bad it had to be thrown away. I hope they make improvements, but after such a letdown, we don’t plan to return.
I love Waraku! It is hands down my favorite sushi place in the area. The variety and creativity of the menu is so fun and all the specialty rolls are ridiculously good (and huge). And if you give them your email or order online they'll send you couponssometimes! If you go here, try some of the specialty rolls like the Romantic Date or the Brown Tiger. We used to really love this place but have had a number of bad orders lately. The last order was missing a sauce, missing pieces of sushi roll, missing a fried rice, and one sushi roll had fish so terrible, it had to be tossed out. I hope they improve butdon't think we will be back after such a disappointment.
I frequently order takeout from this restaurant because it is conveniently located near my home and workplace. I have visited this place multiple times for both dining in and takeout, and in my opinion, it is one of the best sushi restaurants. It is also very affordable. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Came here cause they are open late, the calamari is burned, we couldn’t eat it, so disappointed. Coconut shrimp was just fine. Takoyaki is good with the red sauce. My second time here, won’t come back. Not recommended. Didn’t complain because it waslate night and the waitress was just nice to us.
They have really good food. My wife orders from here at least once a week. Her favorite is steak teriyaki and the fried rice is easily the best in the area. Highly recommend. Réservez une table maintenant
My favorite sushi restaurant in NoVA. Fish is always fresh and delicious. Presentations are always beautiful. Glad they are now open for dine in.
