Located at 515 E Main St, Warrensburg, IL 62573, I would love to give this café more than just 5 stars. It serves as a gathering spot for farmers and locals to catch up on the latest news and events. On two occasions, we arrived before the café officially opened for the day, and we were welcomed to join a group enjoying coffee. We loved listening to their conversations about life updates. When the cooks arrived, they kindly offered us coffee, but we informed them we had already been served and were simply waiting for proper service. We love this family-owned, small town diner. We spend our Saturday mornings here with our extended family having a relaxing breakfast. Some of our favorites here include the Meatlover's Skillet (some of us add a side of gravy), the pony shoe, and the fruit crepes. In fact, our eight-year old claims the Cherry Crepes are his “regular”. He has been heard to say, “It's Saturday morning and I have a date with a cherry crepe.” haha. I initially had a great experience at the restaurant. However, when I tried to take some butter home with me for later use, the staff member treated it like I was stealing and became upset. I explained that I needed the butter for my potatoes since I prefer restaurant butter over the kind I have at home—it just tastes better. Unfortunately, because of this incident, I don't think I'll return. The staff was nice until that moment.
This is our go-to place for breakfast with the family. The service is spectacular and the food is incredibly consistent. Highly recommend the skillets (meatlovers for us). Our kids have even turned down other activity options by saying “no, 'cause I 've gotta date with a cherry crepe.”

This is the 2nd time we've been here. It's a good place to eat. We go here when we come to town for school events that our grandchildren are in. Food and service are great.
Good food, good variety. Quick and friendly service. Dad really enjoys the tenderloin…still talks about even though he lives out of state now.
Great breakfast and terrific service! Very glad I stopped by when driving through town.
