Wasabi Japanese Restaurant

Walked in about 6 on a Friday, wait staff acknowledged me,I waited for a table. Man comes in, steps in front of me, staff seats him first. I wait again. When finally am to be seated I asked why that man was seated first, oh, thought you were with him. Did you ask? well no, but ...So I said I'd like a small table please. Oh we can't do that, you're alone and it's going to get busy so you'll have to sit at the sushi bar or one of the 2 tall window stools. I wasn't impressed. I ordered deluxe tempura, it comes with nothing, not even rice, so I ordered rice after. No one came back until I stood up to leave and pay the bill. Fabulous sushi! We order the large platter for 4 (3 guys 1 girl) for take out. There was plenty and just enough left over. Price was reasonable. The sushi did not disappoint. Generous amounts of sauces and wasabi. We have then an hour and a half notice and was ready for pick up upon arrival. Service was fast and friendly. I would order again and would definitely recommend!

I recently went for lunch and ordered the Bento box with Chicken Teriyaki and a California roll. The service was fantastic and when I asked for extra ginger, they gave me plenty. The California roll wasn't the best I've had, which is why I gave it a 4 out of 5, but I would be willing to try other items on the menu.

I really enjoyed the sushi here for takeout a couple of times. I appreciate that it's not all rice like some other places. Just make sure to check your order for wasabi and condiments, as I had some missing both times. Other than that, it's a great choice. Réservez une table maintenant

One of the best Sushi restaurants in Vernon. I haven't had a bad experience, I use to go there once a week. I still would be, but have had to cut down take out spending. Very easy to spend 50+ here but amazingly worth it. The Miso soup is A+

The restaurant is always busy, but the food is good. It would be even better if they could expand and hire more staff to better serve their customers. The 30-40 minute wait for takeout is a bit too long.

Friendly staff, quick service, interesting menu and delicious food! Try some of the more unusual menu items, you will be pleasantly surprised! Will definitely stop in again when we're on Vernon.
