Last several times we jus haven?t enjoyed it. Terrible service and slow. It had been a while so we tried again tonight. Servicee was mediocre, sushi wasn?t as good as usual, half of party was almost done when our half got our food cooked (large party of 15). Two persons didn?t get their 2nd meat of their meal they ordered. They also didn?t get one of their sushi rolls but were charged. We received our tickets, gave our cards to pay and a bit later our tickets were brought back changed with an added we give charge. Manager was rude and could careless. If there needs to be a service fee fine, but you don?t give your card to pay and they change your ticket and bring it back. He knew the service was terrible and I guess felt he wouldn?t get tipped what he wanted. Either way you don?t do that. Sorry but we will not return.
Each time we?ve gone to Wasabi recently, the experience has gotten progressively worse. The wait time took forever (much longer than quoted), the service was awful and the waiter tried to argue with us about paying a splitting charge (which we?ve ALWAYS done) for an extra soup and salad on the Wasabi special. We continually had to ask the waiter for drinks after ordering them and the only saving grace was the hibachi cook. He was wonderful. Wish I would have gotten his name since he was the only good part of the entire evening. The bathrooms were super dirty and so was the floor around the tables. Sorry, but we won?t be back again anytime soon to see if it?s gotten even worse. For a total bill of $100 with tip, we?ll go somewhere much better.
