Hmm… not the wow kind of food, nor too bad either. Decent food. More of fusion food. Tried one of their cooked burritos; came with nice little chips and salsa. Portion size was decent too. But I am not sure if I want to go back again and try something from their menu again. Btw, they don’t have a lot of vegetarian options besides hippie nachos) but they I think they’ll substitute the protein with veggie of your choice. Parking could be a challenge at this location.
First time here and tried the sushi nachos. Such a great dish that you can’t get just anywhere! The flavor was incredible but the value wasn’t so great. I spent about $15 a piece for my meal and for each of my son’s meals. They got the sushi burritos and rated them a 6/10. One of my sons immediately wondered aloud about their profit margin. I would definitely go back but hope they increase the amount of food for the price.
Updated 12-22-2023 In general I do enjoy the food here. However, the costs are out of control. Sub their really terrible chips for a small handful of Doritos and they surcharge almost $2 with tax. Come on... Lunch here is $20 with 20% tip and decent chips and the portions are generally small these days. I used to be a really big fan. Not so much anymore.
I lived in Birmingham for part of 2022 and have moved back to my hometown since then and when we think of our time in Birmingham, Wasabi Juan’s always comes up. Consistently good food and friendly service, cute location, good value for the price. Miss this place so much and highly recommend it!! Réservez une table maintenant
I found this restaurant on Google Maps and couldn't resist giving it a try. The food is fantastic! It's incredibly delicious! I just wish we had a place like this back in Columbus, GA.

I will always have a fondness for this place, but the 420 nachos didn’t taste quite like I remember.
