Waters Edge - Réservation de table

After a long 7 hour drive we went to the water's edge restaurant after booking into our lodge for a nice drink and some food. I approached the barman who looked bemused at my request to order some food to have outside. I was told that they was to busy and had a very busy evening ahead IT WAS 5.30PM AND NOT A SINGLE PERSON WAS EATING FOOD JUST DRINKING so not sure why at such an early time they couldn't cook some very basic pub food as this is what the menu is. £18 for fish and chips I went to reception to complain and was told this time by a so called bar manager that he was under staffed?? Due to current government restrictions, we could only use the takeaway service, but the food was delicious and served piping hot! We ended up using the service three nights in a row since there were no nearby options for takeaway at our accommodation. The lady there was very friendly and welcoming. It was easy to place our orders and set a time for pickup.

Restaurant last orders was 7pm that seems quite early. Food was nice staff helpful eat outside great views. This place is fantastic! It's an excellent spot to enjoy a meal. The staff were wonderful, the food was delicious, and the views from the restaurant were lovely. There’s a great selection of beers as well. Definitely worth a visit! Réservez une table maintenant

The food was delightful, with a limited but sufficient selection to find something appealing. Everything was homemade and fresh. Overall, I would rate the food 5 out of 5, the service 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere 5 out of 5.

Have fantastic meal last Saturday, Ian was a real star behind the bar getting us a table, that lad dosnt stop moving, and Becky was brilliant, great food service...thank you
