We ate at this restaurant for two nights during our recent stay at the South Lakeland holiday park. The staff were fantastic and took great care of us, even accommodating our large Greyhound by seating us in a place where he could lay down. The food was better than we expected, especially considering it was a new menu. Both dishes I tried were delicious - the lamb was cooked perfectly the first night and the pork was also perfectly cooked the second night. The sticky toffee dessert was particularly good. Thank you for two wonderful evenings.
Came in at 5pm to get a pizza and some drinks, we was sat a outside table, and refused service as they said they was fully booked I had a look around the resteraunt and every table has a reserve notice some being 5-5.30 and others at 8pm which doesn’t make sense why they couldn’t serve us, it seemed like they just all wanted to do the least amount of work as possible
I was on-site for the weekend and I really enjoyed this bar, although the drinks are a bit more expensive compared to other pubs. Tonight, I had a meal with 5 other adults and every dish was delicious and generous. I would definitely recommend it, despite the fact that the menu is limited and the prices are a bit high. It's worth it.
We visited one of our favourite restaurants tonight a great place to visit for a fabulous meal with friends family. You can always guarantee a warm welcome from the friendly staff and exceptional food from the kitchen. It’s definitely well worth a visit. Also dog are very welcome

The restaurant has a beautiful outdoor seating area with a view of the lake. We stopped by for a quick drink while on a walk. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The prices were fair and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing.
We had a lovely evening meal. The staff were efficient and friendly without being intrusive. Nice cosy atmosphere on a cold autumn night. The food was excellent and a cut above usual pub fare. Well done Jamie and team. We will be back!
Good atmosphere and really cosy, staff were friendly and really helpful. It was my mams birthday and she really enjoyed her meal (wild mushroom rigatoni). The only thing I can think of to improve would be coasters.
A fabulous stay at this lovely campsie.tranquil area with a little stream and rolling hills. Tom was very helpful with any questions we needed answering. We will be back

Interesting and tasty main dishes. Unusually a good choice of vegetarian dishes. Children's menu was good too. Portions large so couldn't manage dessert.
Average pub food fried tasteless fries and a burger not special no accompaniments like coleslaw or sales quite lacking for a £17 burger not impressed!
