First time i went was with 2 friends for high tea & was meant to be a nice girl afternoon but we were most disgusted in the service we received. We arrived at 1 pm and got our first pot of tea at 3.15 pm we asked and asked several times for a simple pot of tea and was told by a member of staff "You'll have to wait as we are busy"!!! when it came the spout was broken and hot tea poured all over the table and myself. When we complained at reception we just got a blank stare. I called and complained and got a voucher we could use as a second chance. We we used it we were put at the only table in the room without a table cloth and it was caked with so much dust when we put our napkins on the tab...
I have been to the Long Bar restaurant at the Pagoda three times before and have had a nice meal. This time I went for my birthday with another couple and as the Long Bar is now only for functions we had to eat in the Waterwall restaurant. This restaurant is at the back of the resort overlooking the pool. Not in a good location like the Long Bar. Our meal was very average.The bread for entrée (can't even remember what type it was) was very hard and the pork belly had no cracking on top and the fat was not rendered. The restaurant is well fitted out -nice view overlooking the pool ,linen napkins ,good flatware and stemware and attentive service but somehow it isn't doesn't quite make the high mark.It's probably because it does too much -three meals a day service plus High Tea and no doubt room service since it's in a 4 star resort.The food whilst in no way bad isn't particularly good either and it does offer lunch specials which are very good value.Locals get access to coupons in the local paper for such things as a free glass of wine.Service is prompt no doubt as an outcome of room service needing speedy delivery.
My husband and I had a meal at the Pagoda Restaurant on Friday night. We had one of the only two tables which were occupied, so we were surprised when we were seated right next to the other group (which was quite noisey). The menu selection had a very modern twist, with nothing familiar for my husband to choose. Every steak had Thyme Jus, which is not to everyone's taste. I ordered the barramundi, which was served with an Mediterranean flavour base, having lots of black olives etc. Also, not to my taste.The service was attentive, however food and alcohol prices were exorbitant.

A rather disappointing experience. Went for a High Tea, which we booked well ahead. One friend commented, 'Well, we can't complain about the service, because there isn't any!" We waited for over an hour for the food and , before we had consumed much - about half an hour - the lights were being flickered to tell us to leave. The actual food items were mostly ordinary, but the little quiches were very good. I must admit that I have had much better food and service elsewhere.
Our visit to the Pagoda was for a special occasion, 'High Tea' for my Grandmother's birthday. The High Tea was one of the best I've had in Perth. The food was delicious and fresh, and the hot finger food was actually hot! The scones amazing! The plates were plentiful, making it really good value dining. Had a lovely afternoon, thoroughly recommend a visit.
Stayed at the Pagoda for 4 nights after our cruise. Fantastic hotel, pretty good breakfast and good value as we got their rooms with breakfast package. Had one dinner here, price is around 30 to 38 for main that is around what you have to pay for a decent meal today. Over all good food and friendly service.
Had a perfect High Tea with my Mum, service was excellent, food was delicious, presentation was beautiful, tried the cinnamon tea for something different and it was just perfect. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys their High Tea. Thank you so very much.

We ate here on the first night of our stay mainly because we were staying on the premises and it was convenient to do so but the food was so good that we decided to eat here on our second night also. Different food options and delicious.
An excellent meeting point, it offers good meals at very attractive rates. Good combinations of ingredients and various delicacies on the menu. Recommended
