Really solid food and experience so I'm not surprised that this place is busy. We started at the bar and you can tell that you are well taken care of with experienced bartenders. We enjoyed the skinny spicy margarita but my rye manhattan tasted more like an old fashioned. Not the worst because it was tasty but not what I ordered. We ordered tons of food for 4 people: 1. fried calamari very tender and well fried but I thought that the sauce was way too thin. I would get again. 2. I give the food five stars, and the service four stars because no one smiled, or was friendly, beginning with the manager. He did not go table to table to greet the patrons. The atmosphere is of a mediocre Diner, with tables too close to each other, and little walking room. The noise level is ridiculous, and because it's a family restaurant ? , too many small children. For $235.00 paid for our meals, 3 , there are restaurants with better ambiance, atmosphere, service, and comparable meals for less. Luckily I haven’t many bad restaurant experiences but this was one I can remember. First, our waiter didn’t give us menus for about 10 minutes. Then he didn’t come back to take our orders for another long period of time. When he came back it wasn’t to take our orders it was to talk to friends at the table next to us, we finally got his attention and took our orders. The food came out not too long after that but it really wasn’t good how much it was. I ordered one of their popular mussel pots but all it was shells in broth. I had absolutely no meat in their, I felt like I was totally ripped off. I left pretty angry and still hungry.
