Dined here for lunch on Sunday. I enjoyed the caramelised onion tart with roasted tomato pesto, spinach melted camembert with salad and hubby enjoyed the ham, cheese and brie quiche. I also had a freshly squeezed apple ginger juice. We both enjoyed our tasty meals. This place was a great find. Lots of delicious items on their menu and the table next to us were having the homemade scones which we will return to try ourselves. Service was friendly and prompt. Parking was easy out the front and they have a lovely outdoor area also which was full when we were there but hopefully on our next visit we will get to enjoy.

However, the food varies in quality. For those looking for a score, I would give it a 3. The soup was excellent, with the green oil and celery making for a great combination. I appreciate that making that oil must take quite some time. The chips were fresh and enjoyable, but they used damaged potatoes, and unfortunately, the chef burnt the beef burger. The muffins here also look fantastic, but on my next visit, I think I’ll stick with the soup and latte.

Java is 3.9/5, food is well presented and nice quality, service is little inattentive, with staff chat about friends! As I am standing waiting to leave. Typical cow cocky stuff , no surprises then. One thing craps it for me is the wait staff can't smile I don't warm to service by robots, that said others are pleasant and friendly. Worth a visit. Just add returned to find new outdoor area, nice Java still tad sad! Food ok for @money.

Absolutely love this café. Staff are friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Great range of food, spectacular brekkies, can actually make great coffee. Tasty, generous portions. Never been disappointed with a meal. Great location in town centre, has toilet facilities. Sells selection of cheese and jams. This is a regular stomping ground for my running group on Sunday mornings. Réservez une table maintenant

The homemade scones, served with authentic clotted cream and raspberry jam, were absolutely sensational. The hand-cut wedges accompanied by delicious aioli were incredibly addictive. With excellent service and a lovely back verandah featuring soft background music, this is a fantastic spot for lunch or afternoon tea.

The food is absolutely delightful! Yum, yum, YUM! The service is friendly, the bread is fresh, and the meals are of high quality. We were fortunate to stumble upon this place. I highly recommend the rosti and bacon!

I love having breakfast here , the guys are laid back and friendly. The produce is always so fresh and full of flavour and the meals are well priced . You can hear them chatting in their workstation but it's nice .

Great little cafe for lunch. The smoked trout open toastie with crispy cheese and eggplant was very flavoursome. Very affordable too. Will come back for lunch definitely

I love this place it has great coffee and the food is awesome and always fresh. A great option for a really good breakfast and the staff are great as well.
