This is clearly a good restaurant, most reviewers have enjoyed their visit. Unfortunately, I am not one of them. Our evening began well. The young woman who showed us to our table recommended the Starward whiske. I have not had it before and it was excellent. We also ordered sparkling water, a glass of wine and a beer. We had finished them all and our waiter was standing nearby chatting with a colleague with their backs to us. We did not get an opportunity to order another drink until our food arrived sometime later. It was not as if the waiting staff were busy. Just not trying very hard. But then, things really nosedived. My sirloin steak arrived cut up. Why do restaurants not warn patrons...
The dining experience was average and not the best value for money. The wines were lovely, and the selection was impressive. Unfortunately, the service was poor, and there didn't seem to be enough staff. After an hour, we decided to leave, as the atmosphere wasn’t what we had hoped for. This place might be better suited for a 3 PM wine and small plates rather than for a group dinner.
Great location in Richmond with a reasonable range of food on the menu. The girls attending our table were knowledgeable and had good feedback in regards to recommended wines and cocktails to pair with the food. They checked in with us regularly during the meal to make sure everything was good for us. Each dish that we had was delicious and a good portion size.
The vegetarian set menu on Tuesday night is FAB!! Great value along with reasonably priced wines. Service was 'spot on '. The room is cosy but it would be even better with colourful art works on the back walls adjacent to the restrooms. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Nice venue, everything we ate was delicious. However they were already out of a lot dishes, bizarrely, at 6:30.

The food was amazing and service was stunning. Definitely recommend grabbing the feed me.
