My partner is a great fan of Waylands Yard. I am less of a fan! This is a quirky place to hang out. The food is not the usual run of the mill food you will find nearby. I had Lebanese eggs which were lovely! Very good indeed. The food is cooked from scratch. This is a quirky restaurant and I would come here without my partner. If you like good coffee and a wide of range of teas you will do well here. They don't sell wine but you can get beer and cider. The place is dog friendly which is why we come here. Try Waylands Yard for your self.
I had about 45 minutes to spare before I was due in court and expecting a challenging time because of the conduct of the party I was representing. There turned out to be nothing better to stiffen my resolve than the hearty breakfast I had at Wayland’s Yard. It comprised poached eggs with a cheesy sauce and pulled pork rather than ham on sourdough with onions and herbs. An espresso came with a minted glass of water that rather perked me up.
Wayland's is one of those places where you're torn between the amazing cakes (see image) and the fantastic food menu. You'd need a strong constitution to take on both. The coffee is also top rate, and I'm VERY fussy. Service is super friendly, atmosphere is relaxed hipster, with a lovely outdoor area.
Nice menu and great location pre travel as close to the station so nice for a breakfast meal before travel. Coffee is nice and I also sometimes get a takeaway. Also nice on the weekends for lunch when catching up with friends and has good capacity and comfortable seating

Sigi and I love good food and she recommended this little restaurant we ate breakfast 5 days consecutively. You can order from your phone, or a waiter/waitress can take you order. The food comes out super quick and is ABSOLUTELY delicious.
Great great place! Crumpets are a classic. Fried chicken for breakfast with maple syrup, what is not to like there?! Always super duper friendly staff too.
Great food, reasonably priced, really friendly staff. You can also order from the table which is great. Would definitely visit again
Beautiful breakfast and a great atmosphere. I was able to bring my dog and she was very well looked after. The Big Stack is amazing.
