Almost EVERYTHING about this restaurant was GOOD ??!!! The food tastes great, the waitress is very nice, it appeared to look clean which is a Hugh PLUS for me and to sit and listen to some soulful old school music playing was a nice plus... everything was right on point. Very beautiful experience. It 's now by far our (me and my husband) favorite breakfast spot.However, unfortunately, there was only 1 thing wrong with my dining experience ?... Being charged extra for using my debit card ?.I DON 'T APPRECIATE nor DO I LIKE THAT. (I 'm being penalized for paying you with my card). Now I 'll have to go back to carrying CASH. My 15teen year old daughter put me up on this place. I love the openness, and it's clean. Have a little music plaing. Love the vibe. Food is delicious. I personally get the house potatoes and a waffle. My daughter gets the chicken wings, which are fried nicely, potatoes and mac&cheese. I had one of her chicken wings, and they were good. Fried just right. My husband got cinnamon pecan waffles, potatoes, and chicken wings. He cleaned the bone. Today, I had chicken tenders, waffles, and house potatoes. The chicken tenders and fried golden. They're good and juicy, very fulfilling. I recommend this restaurant.
My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place! We have visited three times now and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is cozy and feels like being at grandma's house. The food is well-seasoned, fresh, and delicious - it feels like it's made with love. The service is very friendly and professional, with the staff being sweet and accommodating. We enjoy coming here and it will definitely become one of our go-to spots.
This restaurant in Centerline is a hidden treasure! Despite the unassuming interior, the food is fantastic and the portions are generous. The chicken and waffles were served hot and freshly made. We visited on a Sunday morning and were surprised to find it empty. The waitress was delightful and charming. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be returning!

Come ready to eat some great filling soul food at its best. Famous for the Chicken Waffles. So very yummy and delicious. I recommend the buttermilk waffles with the chicken wings or tenders. You can 't go wrong either way.Great atmosphere with great service.The food and service are exceptional.Check it out when in town.Thumbs up all around.??Parking: Open parking
I hesitated even trying this place. Centerline in my opinion has no flavor skills.. It was exactly what I expected. Unseasoned, dry, and greasy chicken. The gravy tasted like flour and bland. The place was uninviting, decor was half from old coffee shop, seating tore up. Servers nails so long, no one wore hair nets. Will never go back. Do not recommend.
The food at this restaurant is exceptional. Their specialty dish, chicken and waffles, is especially delicious. The service is friendly and excellent. My only complaint would be the dust on the decorations and lights, which need some attention. I highly recommend checking out Waynes for some of the best food in Centerline.
The chicken was delicious. I got the southern plate with spicy strips. The Mac and cheese was not good. I think they served me yesterday's Mac and cheese. Not good. -1 star. I'll be back but I'm not getting the Mac and cheese next time. Gross.

I'm tired of seeing restaurants with cooks and servers who DO NOT WEAR GLOVES. No one had gloves on in this place. People act like covid is gone completely. I won't be going back. No gloves No love.
