Wayside Bakery Creamery

Now the ONLY we could find a place to eat in the town of Montpelier VT was this place. Amazing food and great price to boot. We had the special of the day which was chicken pot pie (which was super Loaded with chicken (and tasted almost like WillowTree Pie like we use to have back in MA). Came with creamy chicken vegetable soup, homemade biscuit (on top of the pie), onion rings and I opted for garlic Parmesan broccoli as my second side. Also came with fresh baked rolls which we thought home with alot for leftovers. Don’t know how they make an profit. The staff is super friendly

Delicious food! I have the grilled cheese and onion rings and it was perfect. My partner got the daily special meat that was really good. Filled with a delicious piece of apple cake and maple cream cake! All right!

Amazing food at a good price. Breakfast is always served here and is always good. The fried chicken sandwich is fantastic. Kid friendly too. Sometimes you may have to wait to get space as this is a local favorite.

Fast friendly service! Large portion size and very cheap! If you get an oil change at the Chevy dealership or point S, it is just a short walk on the road. Great way to kill some time. I will definitely be back!
