we were visiting perchtoldsdorf by friends and decided to go to the mayer. one could not bring big surprises to this small village somewhere on the warmer edge of the city, but we were very surprised! Apart from the foods the excellent tasted and the wine was a delight to us, that the staff were the jewels and made our stay enjoyable. as we were a bit too early to meet with our friends we only sat close to the entrance area in the garden and tried some achterl different wine varieties. we had first a young small to medium-sized man as a waiter who was friendly, quick and professional to the side. we learned about the sorts of royal, sylvaner and redgipfler every detail in all rest and that a...
the heurige mayer in the center of perchtoldsdorf offers a variety of self-contained wines that are all recommended. There are excellent foods from the morning to the late evening - also lunchtime. the local has separate smoker and non-smoking areas as well as a beautiful, with wine-protected sun garden.
