I absolutely love Weinberg’s! It’s always clean and reliable. It’s a fantastic spot to grab a fresh bagel with cream cheese, and they offer a wide range of iced and hot coffee flavors. They have a large selection of baked goods, perfect for putting together a box of treats to share. They also create pastry and sandwich platters for events and provide coffee boxes complete with all the essentials for your next gathering. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the owner, Val, is wonderful! I worked there for six years, and she was like a second mother to me.
The employees are always so pleasant and have patience of saints. The food and coffee are always delicious especially their specialty sandwiches. I highly recommend this backery. FYI: order their pies and cakes for the Holidays; you won't be disappointed. Their prices are great too.
I stopped by and couldn't resist trying a lobster tail pastry. I'm visiting from out of town and had been recommended to check out Mike's Pastry in the North End. Let me tell you, the lobster tail filling at Weinberg's is far superior to Mike's in every way! You have to try it!
The food was great and they have alot to offer if you like pastries and muffins. I do wish the woman at the front counter didn't cash people out wearing gloves and then proceed to make sandwiches without changing the gloves. Maybe work on that but the staff was nice otherwise. I love their bagels, and yes they will sell you some cream cheese if you need it. Their sandwiches look yummy but I have never tried them. Yesterday I tried some muffins and some cinnamon rolls. Both were very good. For me, however, this place is mostly about the bagels.
